Costa Verde – The Emerald Locale

Costa Verde is the second largest city in Portugal and is located on the northwest coast of Portugal. It is considered as the coffers of Portugal, being the center of finance and commerce in the country. Be Inebriated with the Beauty of Porto

Porto is one of the largest commercial and industrial regions in Portugal. It has a land area of 41.66 square kilometres with an estimated population of 221,800. The city of Porto is the capital of the Norte NUTS II region and sits on the estuary of the River Douro in the northern area of Portugal. The region, where the city is center, is called the political Greater Metropolitan Area of Porto and is the main commercial region in northern Portugal. Included herein is the city of Maia, the largest industrial park in Portugal.

Porto

Porto (pronounced as por-tu in Portuguese) or Oporto in English, is the secondary urban city of Portugal. It is the capital of the Norte NUTS II region. The city is located near the Douro River in Northern Portugal. Porto is also the largest city in the region, with an urbanized land area of 150 square miles or 390 square kilometers. It has the same size as St. Catherines-Niagara, Oslo Busan (South Korea), and Honolulu in Hawaii. (more…)
