Braga is a municipality in northwest Portugal. It is the capital of the District of Braga, the oldest district in the region. Braga is one of the more popular and industrialized cities of the country. Braga is also the center of the Greater Metropolitan Area of Minho and it is the 7th largest municipality in Portugal.
The city is also known as the “Portuguese Rome” because of its monuments, religious architectures, and remnants of the Roman colonization. This is the center of commerce and religious activities in the area. (more…)
