Default Shopping

Street markets are part of everyday life in Portugal. There is a schedule though for these flea markets so you need to schedule around them

One of the biggest ones is in Lisbonm named the Feira da Ladra in the Alfama. It sets up shop each Tuesday and Saturday mornings and there is a wide assortment of antiques, clothes and traditional handicrafts.

Porto’s prime commercial district is the Centro Commercial Peninsular, the Praca do Bom Sucesso and the Centro Commercial Via Caterina. This is a walk only zone located on the shopping district on Rua de Santa Caterina and Rua Fernandes Tomar. Malls stand alongside designer shops and mom and pop stores of every kind crammed into this small area. With a little patience you can find the best bargains for the best items.
